Prior to founding Expert Business & Professional Services, Ms. Spencer was Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at CoreStaff, Inc., Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Proactively recruited by this leading staffing company as part of the team to open the Broward County territory, Sandy’s focus was on identifying, structuring, implementing and supporting full-scale strategic national and regional partnerships with corporate alliances. She directed all aspects of corporate relations and strategic direction, including the implementation and support of corporate strategies as well as designing and developing individual programs. She was later appointed as the Director of Executive Recruiting for companies including Disney Corporation, American Express, Publix, Henry Lee, UPS, Viacom, Coca-Cola, Nabisco, Motorola, Citigroup, BellSouth, AutoNation, and other Fortune 500s.

Initially upon relocating to Florida, Ms. Spencer was Director of Human Resources and Employee Development at National Computer Distributors, a fast-growing computer distribution company, where she established the department for the organization and managed all aspects of the human resource function for eight locations and 275 employees.

Ms. Spencer began her career in as a Regional Sales Manager for IBM Corporation in Syracuse, New York. Initially hired as a Sales Representative for this information technology solutions company, she was promoted to Sales/Training Manager within six months, and in eventually promoted to Multi-Unit Sales Manager with complete P&L responsibility for the largest region and most competitive market in upstate New York.

Ms. Spencer’s professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Managers, Association for Talent Development, the Chamber of Commerce, and Toastmasters International. She is also a Special Olympics Volunteer and an Equestrian 4-H Member and Officer.

She attended Syracuse University on academic and athletic scholarships. While at Syracuse she was a member of Women’s Soccer Team and an All-American Collegiate Player, a member of the Equestrian Team, and was chosen as a Who’s Who “University 100” Student. She received the Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Law and Political Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She went on to acquire a Master’s Certificate in Training and Human Resource Development from Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Nova Southeastern University.

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, she currently resides in Plantation with her husband Cody, and their dog Takoda. She is an avid fitness person who enjoys outdoor boot camps, international soccer, horseback riding, and Formula 1 racing. She also enjoys cooking and travel.
