A job expo focusing on “green” jobs will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 28- 29, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach. Regain American Jobs is hosting the expo, which is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Green jobs can include installing solar panels, weatherizing buildings, constructing and maintaining wind farms, materials re-use and recycling, and organic agriculture.

Participating companies include The National Green Energy Council, Green Job Corp, GEC Feed The World Coalition, G-Source Center of West Palm Beach and Evergreen Bio Concepts.

Employers expected to be at the Expo include: Coco Cola, Aflac Insurance, McDonald’s Corp., Sears Holding Company, CBS Radio, Publix, Account Temps, The Answer Group, ESPN 760, Insphere Insurance Solutions, AllState Insurance, The Global Business Network, National Brands, Heartland Medical Group, Walmart, Kmart, Babcock Furniture, Marriott Resorts, Best Buy, Teleperformance, Hiring Box, and other companies.
